Match formats include Test matches, One Day matches, and T20 matches. T20 is an aggressive and fast format of the game in which each team bats for one inning of 20 overs, facing 120 balls. This is the format that will be adopted for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Games, and its dynamic batting and strategic nature are its attractions.

This is a race where cyclists compete for speed by riding laps around an oval track, and there are many different events. A distinctive feature of the track is its banked corners, designed to allow high-speed riding.

Riders with powerful, finely honed engines built into their bodies unleash their bicycles as weapons, driving themselves to shatter the limits of speed.

Golf is a competition where players use a club to hit a ball and aim to sink it into a cup in the fewest strokes possible.
Players are limited to using a maximum of 14 clubs. The competition typically consists of 4 rounds played over 4 days on a course structured with 18 holes per round.

Each hole has a standard number of strokes assigned to it, and sinking the ball in this designated number of strokes is called a 'Par'

Men's Artistic Gymnastics has six apparatus: Floor Exercise, Pommel Horse, Still Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and Horizontal Bar. Women's Artistic Gymnastics has four apparatus: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exersise.
Gymnasts are awarded a D score for difficulty and an E score for execution.

The difficulty score is based on the performed moves, earning between 0.1 and 1.0 points per move. The top eight moves are counted for women, and top 10 for men, to give them their final D score. For the vault, it’s simply the score associated with the vault skill element.
For their E score, every gymnast starts with the perfect 10.0 score, with points deducted for any mistakes.

Theare are two type of competitions: individual and group. In the individual competition, gymnasts perform four routines with each apparatus.

The group event features five gymnasts performing two synchronized routines using two different sets of apparatus, such as 5 balls, 3 hoops & 2 clubs.

A dynamic sport competed at a height of 8 to 10 meters above the ground, featuring breathtaking acrobatic performances.

The competition includes two different routines in the qualifying competition that feature 10 judged elements. In the finals, the gymnasts perform one routine which can be the same or different from qualifying.

The gymnasts also receive an execution score based on how well each element is performed, a time of flight score that calculates the amount of time the gymnast spends in the air and a horizontal displacement score which is based off the gymnast’s ability to stay in the middle of the trampoline.

Kabaddi originated in BC. The technique of surrounding prey and fighting without weapons, as well as a way to defend against animal attacks, eventually evolved into the sport that became kabaddi. Kabaddi is a unique game with unique rules that combine tag and dodgeball. Each team consists of seven players. One raider (attacker) enters the opponent's court, touches the body of the ante (defensive) player, and then returns to their own side to eliminate the player who touched them. Each player receives a point. While attacking, players must keep saying "kabaddi" without taking a breath. Sailing is a sport in which one or two athletes board a boat and skillfully adjust the sail to harness the wind, competing along a designated course. Points are awarded based on finishing positions in each race, and the team with the lowest total score at the end of the series is declared the winner.

Sepaktakraw is a sport played over a net, using the feet, thighs, or head to kick a ball into the opponent's court, similar to volleyball. It is a traditional sport that has been passed down in Southeast Asian countries since the 9th century. At this Asian Games, the men's competition features three events: Regu (teams of three), Quadrant (teams of four), and Team Regu (team event).

The women's competition also features three events: Double (teams of two), Quadrant (teams of four), and Team Regu (team event).

Table tennis originated in England as an indoor sport to enjoy during rainy weather. Players hit a ball—40 mm in diameter and weighing 2.7 g—back and forth across a table, competing for points. Each game is played to 11 points, and matches are typically best of 5 or 7 games depending on the event and round. Because it can be enjoyed regardless of age or skill level, table tennis is also popular as a lifelong sport.

Eligible Applicants People living in the host region or nearby areas (Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka, Tokyo, and Osaka)
Sales Period Application Period: 5:00 PM (Thu), February 26 – 11:59 PM (Mon), March 9 [JST]
  • The second pre-sale will be held for a limited time from 5:00 PM on Thursday, March 12, 2026, to 11:59 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 (Japan Standard Time), with no restrictions on eligible participants.
  • The maximum number of tickets per purchase is 12. For the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, up to 6 tickets may be purchased per account.
  • All tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis (not by lottery).
  • Wheelchair tickets and tickets for persons with disabilities are available only through the official sales website.
  • We will announce any future additions to sales channels or changes to the sales period.

Ticket Content
General Ticket
  • Seating categories (AA, A, B, C, and D) are available for each sport, depending on the characteristics of the competition and the venue size.
Child Tickets
  • This is a discounted ticket for children under 15 years old as of the session date. Please note that age verification may be required at entry.
  • Child pricing is available only for the lowest seating category in each sport discipline. This ticket offers good value for families and groups attending together.
  • When children under 15 spectate together with companions aged 15 or over, the spectators aged 15 or over must purchase a General Ticket in the lowest seating category (e.g., For wheelchair basketball, individuals aged 15 and older should purchase general admission tickets for Section B, while those aged 3 to 14 should purchase child-priced tickets).
    *The lowest seat category is General Admission.
  • Children under 3 years old (not yet in school) may enter free of charge if seated on a guardian’s lap.(A ticket is required if a seat is needed.)
  • If you wish to purchase seats other than the lowest seating category, children aged 3–14 must purchase tickets at the standard price.
Disability Discount Ticket （Accessible Ticket for People with Disabilities）
  • A discounted ticket is available for persons with a disability certificate and any number of accompanying persons. The disability certificate will be checked at the time of entry.
  • The discount is available only for the lowest seating category for each sport.
    If you wish to purchase a ticket in any other seating category, including higher categories, please purchase a ticket at the regular price, even if you hold a disability certificate.
    ※The lowest seating category is general admission (with some exceptions).
  • All accompanying persons must enter and exit the venue together with the ticket holder with a disability certificate.
    Separate entry or exit is not permitted.Their seating category, including higher categories, please purchase a ticket at the regular price, even if you hold a disability certificate.
Wheelchair Ticket
  • This ticket allows guests using a wheelchair and one accompanying person to attend the event together. (One accompanying person only.)
  • Wheelchair seating is available for all sessions.
  • The wheelchair user will be charged the Wheelchair Ticket price, and one accompanying person may attend free of charge. The accompanying seat will be located adjacent to the wheelchair space.
  • The accompanying person must enter and exit the venue together with the wheelchair user at the same time. Separate entry or exit is not permitted.

  • Special hospitality packages designed to enhance your enjoyment of the Games are available for Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
    In addition to top-category match tickets, these packages include priceless experiences and gifts, as well as plans that allow you to enjoy the session while dining and relaxing in exclusive lounges or private rooms.   • In addition, when general sales begin in June, we plan to offer discounted package tickets for families or groups that include at least one person aged 65 or older or with a disability.
