Refunds for Tickets Due to Schedule Changes for the “Rowing” and “Equestrian (Eventing)” Events at the 20th Asian Games (2026, Aichi/Nagoya)

The Aichi-Nagoya Asian and Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) hereby announces that it will issue ticket refunds due to changes in the competition schedule for the 20th Asian Games (2026, Aichi-Nagoya).

1. Changes to the Competition Schedule

Affected Sports and Events	Reason for Change
Rowing	・Due to the heavy rain that occurred on September 15, additional time is required to prepare the water facilities, remove debris, and repair equipment.
Equestrian (Eventing)	・Heavy rain is expected due to the approach of Typhoon No. 25, and it is anticipated that preparing the arena will take time.

* Details of schedule changes for rowing
・The preliminaries scheduled for September 21 and 22 will be held on September 23.
・Events scheduled for September 23 will be held on September 24.
* Changes to the competition schedule for Equestrian (Eventing)
・The Eventing (Dressage) event scheduled for September 21 will be held on September 22.
・The Eventing (Cross-Country) event scheduled for the morning of September 22 will be held in the afternoon of September 22.

2. Handling of Affected Tickets

① Due to changes in the competition schedule, the following sessions will not be held as originally scheduled; therefore, tickets for these sessions will be invalidated and refunds will be issued.
Please note that since the tickets will be invalidated, you will not be able to enter the revised sessions using the affected tickets.

*No events will be held on the dates listed above.
*Events scheduled for ROW06 and ROW07 will be held at ROW04.
*Events scheduled for EQU01 will be held at EQU02.

② Due to changes in the competition schedule, although tickets remain valid, the sessions eligible for a refund if you do not enter the venue are as follows:
Please note that since tickets remain valid, you may still enter the venue using the applicable ticket; however, if you do enter, you will not be eligible for a refund.

③ Although the competition schedule has changed, the following tickets remain valid and are not eligible for refunds.
Please note that since the tickets remain valid, you may enter the venue using the applicable tickets.

For details on the refund process, please check the information posted on the official event ticket information page below. Refunds will be processed after the event concludes.
We will also notify eligible individuals via the email address on file. Until you receive further notice, please keep your tickets in a safe place.

3. Ticket Redistribution

Tickets eligible for refunds cannot be used to attend events on other dates or for other sports. If you wish to attend a different event, please purchase a new ticket.
