Refunds for Tickets Due to Schedule Changes for the “Rowing” Event at the 20th Asian Games (2026, Aichi/Nagoya)

The Aichi-Nagoya Asian and Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) hereby announces that it will issue ticket refunds due to changes in the competition schedule for the 20th Asian Games (2026, Aichi-Nagoya).

1. Changes to the Competition Schedule

Affected Sports and Events	Reason for Change
Rowing	・Due to the heavy rain that occurred on September 8, it became necessary to dismantle some facilities and set them up again.

*Details of the schedule changes for Rowing
・All matches scheduled for September 20 have been canceled.
・The qualifying rounds scheduled for September 20 have been rescheduled for September 21.
・The qualifying rounds scheduled for September 21 have been rescheduled for September 22.
・The events scheduled for September 22 will be held on September 23 and 24.

2. Ticket Refunds

Due to changes in the competition schedule, some sessions have been canceled entirely as a result of changes to the competition format and are therefore eligible for refunds. For details on the affected sessions and the refund process, please check the information posted on the official tournament ticket information page below.
We will also notify eligible individuals via the email address on file. Until you receive further notice, please keep your tickets in a safe place.

The following sessions have been canceled, and tickets will be refunded. Refunds will be processed after the tournament concludes.

3. Ticket Redistribution

Tickets eligible for refunds cannot be used to attend events on other dates or for other sports. If you wish to attend a different event, please purchase a new ticket.

4. Ticket Sales

Due to changes in the competition schedule, tickets for rowing events will go on sale sequentially starting at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16. The sessions for which tickets will go on sale are as follows.
