Ticket Sales Status for the 20th Asian Games (2026, Aichi/Nagoya)

We would like to provide an update on ticket sales for the 20th Asian Games as of Monday, September 7, 2026.

Looking at the sales rates for the opening and closing ceremonies and all 41 sports (the average across all sessions, including preliminaries and weekday events), approximately 40% have sales rates exceeding 80%, and approximately 70% exceed 60% (including those exceeding 80%). In particular, for sports such as table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and sport climbing, seats are running low for many sessions. On the other hand, for soccer and baseball, which are held at large-capacity venues, tickets are still readily available.

Regarding tickets, we are currently reviewing available seats to provide as many tickets as possible and enable more people to attend the events. For the Asian Games opening ceremony, a significant number of additional tickets are being made available for sale starting today following the finalization of the production plan. Additionally, for events where tickets were previously marked as “sold out,” we will continue to release them for sale as soon as available seats are secured.

Tickets can be purchased not only through the official Games ticket sales website but also at the “Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Ticket Center,” which will open on Wednesday, September 9, and through same-day ticket sales at the eight venues, so please stay tuned. We hope you’ll come enjoy Asia’s largest sports festival right at the venues.
